Lamp of Learning Society

Established in 1991, the Lamp of Learning Society honors individuals who have thoughtfully remembered Winsor in their estate plans through a planned gift. These gifts have a lasting impact and are visible in the vitality of our school today.

Planned gifts include a gift through a will or trust, a beneficiary designation of retirement assets or life insurance policy, or a life-income gift such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust.

As a benefit of membership, you will be invited to an annual luncheon hosted by the head of school and receive a commemorative pin exclusively designed for the Lamp of Learning Society by artist and alumna Margit Esser Porter, Class of 1979.

Your membership in the society inspires others and reminds us all of the importance of philanthropy in sustaining this exceptional school and “passing the light” to future generations of Winsor students.
